everybody hates a tourist

Went to see Art School Confidential this weekend...only worth seeing if you were an art major. It is loaded with "art school profiling"...and the rest of the plot isn't meaty enough to keep you entertained.

One of the sub-plots follows a former art student that has become a serial killer...I kept wondering if Daniel Clowes was inspired by Bob Berdella...who attended my alma mater, KCAI.

No one has ever captured the "art school slumming" mentality quite like Pulp...
